My item was out of stock, why wasn’t I told this at the time of ordering?

Items can sometimes be out of stock even though an order has been fully processed, especially in super busy sale periods. Mallzee acts as an agent for all retailers in the app and therefore we do not have any control over this. If a retailer informs us that an ordered item is in fact out of stock we'll swiftly inform you of this and issue a full refund.
